Swarming Time (2014)
A site-specific installation spread out on the facade of Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Indianapolis. With minimal intervention, the facade is studded with hundreds of clock mechanisms. The clock mechanisms appear as if swarming through public spaces in transition.
These mechanisms are attached with only a second hand devoid of the typical hour and minute hands of a clock. The solitary ticking second hands remind us of the fragility of the present moment. Each ticking clock represents a life force struggling to sustain in the urban environment.
