Consuming The World (2015)

On 2nd February 2015, I invited migrant workers who took care of the facilities in my studio compound in Beijing along with other artists from Red Gate residency to have lunch in my studio. Biryani, traditional Indian fried rice was prepared for the lunch by a local Indian restaurant in Beijing. The food was arranged on the table in the shape of a world map and everyone was supposed to eat from it picking out their preferred parts of the world to eat.

The video serves as the document of the lunch/performance.
